Lesson Goal: Students will end working second half of song, I like to sing/scat, and begin a new scatting song.

*Welcome Musicians! Today we are going to finish working on our song, I like to Sing/Scat, and begin learning a new scatting song! Who thinks that they are ready for that?

3)Scott Joplin :10 Students will learn two short facts about him

4)Rhythm echoes: Students will continue working on beat recognition, and shape of melody with rhythm sticks through echoes.:10

5) I like to Sing/Scat
Students will review I like to Sing /Scat and start on new song, “Scat Man”
Students will also continue watching the video on Ella Fitzgerald on scatting.
