Trimester Goal: The student will complete a written assessment on reading notes on treble clef.
Lesson Goal: Students will continue working on note reading, learn about our new composer of the month, and play the first note on the recorder.
1) Morning/Afternoon Message *”Welcome Back Students! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Today in Music we are going to continue working on note reading, and continue learning our first song! Keep up the good work, and remember our expectations for success so we can get to this!
4)Note Reading: Students will review note reading :5
*ART.M.I.4.9 Use a system to read quarter notes and rests, eighth notes
and rests, half notes and rests, whole notes and rests.
5) Recorders: Students will continue learning proper handling technique of the recorder, and play our first song.
