Lesson Goal: Students will continue BBC documentary on Beethoven, and be introduced to Venn Diagram’s, and song, “Knowledge is Power
1) Morning/Afternoon Message *”Welcome Back Students! Today in Music we are going to begin/continue learning about our new composer of the month, work on completing a Venn Diagram on similarities and differences between Beethoven and Mozart that we know of up to date.
2)Warm Up exercises :5
3)Students will begin learning about Beethoven: Students will watch short video on the composer.
*Standard 4: Understand, analyze, and describe the arts in their historical, social, and cultural context
4) Venn Diagram comparison of the two composers :10
5)Song, “Knowledge is Power” Students will continue learning song, and the meaning of the lyrics.
